The Sea

Written July 29, 1998

Feathers
blowing freely in the breeze
Reckless waves
pushed in from wild strong seas
Children
playing,
laughing,
grasping fish just out of reach
Umbrellas
loosing sandy anchors
and roaming down the beach
Clouds
rolling lazily along the endless deep blue sky
Seagulls
riding currents
with their young ones
learning to fly
