I love you
It's a natural function
Instinct you might say

When a person comes along
I can feel in my soul the essence
Of that person,
And determine what hold that person
Will have over me in the future

With you, I knew as soon as you looked
Into my eyes
That you would be one
Who would steal my heart from me
And give me yours in return

So far, one part of the prophecy is true
Will the other become fact also?
Will you put away your foolish notions
And delusions about obstacles in our path?

Why is it that you hesitate?
Is not love enough to overcome any roadblock?
Trust in me, my love,
For we can make the journey TOGETHER

It's an instinct, a natural function
For me to love you the way I do
Is it an instinct and natural function
For you?
