I Do Care

I found something out today
It was disquieting
To my soul
My heart bled inside
And I wanted to let loose
A stream of tears

What does
This mindless destruction
Profit you in the end?

I could not Put into words
The emotions I was feeling
I wanted to scream
Burst into tears
Strike something with all
The pent up wrath
That was bottled up
Inside my mind

I care
I really do
I want you to know that
I don't want anything
To happen to you
That I can help to prevent

So please,
Stop.
