Camp 2001

"'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says the Lord, 'thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' says the Lord..."
Jeremiah 29:11-14a

      I really ought to have taken more pictures like this, because it seemed as though I was the chiropractor/masseuse of the week...hehe. Seth made me give him one last massage before the V.I.P. had to hit the road. I had mercy on him since A)I love the dude, cuz he's cool, and B)the poor boy was the designated driver...(10 hour drive I think)....the expression on his face in this photo is quite priceless, if I do say so myself...hehe.
      This is me with Andy, that little hottie in the yellow beater...(I want one of those!) I miss Andy. *pouting* Ooo, and you can see the famous tattoo on his arm in this picture! (barely, but it's visible! heh)

      Here I am with Chris, the really tall dude again...hehe! (Sometimes, it is good to be brought down to size, eh?)

And that, my friends, is that! It was a wonderful week, and sadly, all good things must come to an end. But the memories made will last a lifetime. Thanks to everyone that attended this year's senior high week of camp! I love you all! *hugs*

"Therefore justice is far from us, nor does righteousness overtake us;
We look for light, but there is darkness!
For brightness, but we walk in blackness!
We grope for the wall like the blind,
and we grope as if we had eyes;
We stumble at noonday as at twilight;
We are as dead men in desolate places.
We all growl like bears,
and moan sadly like doves;
We look for justice, but there is none;
For salvation but it is far from us.
For our transgressions are multiplied before You,
and our sins testify against us;
For our transgressions are with us,
and as for our iniquities, we know them:
In transgressing and lying against the Lord,
and departing from our God,
speaking oppression and revolt,
conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
Justice is turned back,
and righteousness stands afar off;
For truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter.
So truth fails,
and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey."

Isaiah 59:9-15

but...

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade -- kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith -- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."
